Kim Ledger. Director / Owner

Being a Qualified Automotive Engineer Kim has been involved with all aspects of the automotive and other industries in Australia for more than 30 years ( since 1971 ) when he started his first business Rotomotion, specialising in rotary engine powered vehicles, associated performance modifications and racing most all vehicle categories and types throughout the years.

A former Western Australian Speedcar champion, Kim now road races sportscars in the highly competitive streetcar division at Barbagello Raceway in Perth, with his multi-championship winning team comprising three successful Mazda RX7’s from the Rotary Shop / LFP Team.
Kim specialises in developing new products for the auto racing industry with the team at LFP.
He is also a founder Director / Shareholder of Pfitzner Performance Gearbox ( in Adelaide, SA ) a Director / Shareholder in AHG Driver Training and Education Centre in Perth, founder Director / Owner of Wescone Distribution ( Wescone Iron Ore Crushers ) in Bentley WA and founder Director / Shareholder in the Rotary Shop vehicle importing business in O’Connor WA.

 

Mike Ng. Operations Manager

Qualified Automotive Technician
More than 20 years experience in the industry, Mike is a meticulous operator and organiser and the perfect front for our highly skilled craftsmen producing top quality products for all aspects of racing and road motor vehicles.
Mike is the first and last point of contact at LFP ensuring customers are completely satisfied with our quality, delivery and performance.

 

Terry Fielding. Design Engineer

Terry has more than 35 years design and engineering experience from mining equipment, process engineering and specialist automotive products.
Automotive structural components such as chassis, suspension and aerodynamics are his passion at LF Performance Products.
Terry designed and developed the very successful ‘TRF’ Subaru turbo powered sportscar in house at LFP.

 

 

Brad Stacy. Technical Fabrication

Brad takes enormous pride in his work and is probably regarded the best welder / fabricator in this industry in Western Australia.
His vast personal experience dealing with all matter of materials for both repairs and or perfect fabrications ( given, mud maps or detailed drawings ), are remarkable.
This ‘metal magician’ has also been involved with Kim Ledger for nearly 20 years building race cars, roll cages, alloy radiators, intercoolers, fuel / oil / air tanks, manifolds and numerous other go fast products.

 

Mike Figliomeni. Engineering / Fabrication / ‘Fighter’ Chassis Builder

Mike sadly passed away on the 28th October 2006 , although Mike may have gone, the knowledge and experience he passed on to the rest of the team will stay with us forever, Mike was an all round talented motor engineer / fabricator / tuner / race car driver and true….. ‘quiet achiever’. He was an integral part of the team and a long time asset to the company.
His ability as an individual to understand, build, prepare and race a car were probably unparalleled certainly in Australia and rare in the world of racing.
Mike competed at the top level in open Sprintcar racing and was a former Four times Australian and Six times Western Australian Speedcar Champion.
Meticulous in all areas of preparation for any race car Mike also specialised in utilising our latest ‘Dyno Dynamics’ chassis dyno with the Australian first, LFP self starting arrangement for both Speedcar and Sprintcar tuning, attached.

 

Ian Allenby. Alltune Engineering ( Contractor )

As a Motor / design engineer, Ian forms and integral part of our skilled & friendly LFP team. He enjoys the R & D / problem solving aspect of the automotive industry and has developed a reputation for engineering and building some of the finest pieces of automotive performance equipment for many different vehicles, motor bikes, and race cars throughout the last 25 years.
Ian is highly analytical in his approach to developing or improving a product and forms a great source of reference for the LFP team.
